 Images of America - AROUND CONNELLSVILLE 

A new book (cover picture above) full of pictures and narrative about CONNELLSVILLE and surrounding areas is coming off the press this fall.  This 2013 book will include many pictures of the Connellsville area that you have not seen before.  Make sure that you get your copy.  The book is called "AROUND CONNELLSVILLE" and is one of the books published by Arcadia Publishing in their Images of America series.  The book is authored by Paul Eckman, Karen Hechler and the Connellsville Area Historical Society.

The book price will be $21.99 + $1.31 (PA Sales Tax) = $23.30.  Add $3.00 if it is to be shipped.  Send a check or Money Order to: Connellsville Area Historical Society, 217 West Patterson Avenue, Connellsville, PA 15425.  The book will be mailed to you.

Annual Corn Roast

Wednesday, August 14th, 2024

The Connellsville Historical Society is planning for the Annual Corn Roast on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Crawford’s Cabin located at the corner of N. 7th St. and Torrance Ave, Connellsville.

The menu includes: corn, hot dogs and sauerkraut, baked beans, fresh vegetables, dessert and soft drinks.

The cost is $7.00 per person.

Reservations must be made by Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. You must bring your own table service to this event.

Anyone wishing to help set up for the event should be at Crawford Cabin by 1:00 pm on August 14th to husk corn and clean picnic tables.
